I write short stories and novels. I grew up in western Queensland and started my career as a lawyer in Paris. I’ve been lucky to live and work in places, like Yangon, Nîmes, Phnom Penh, Sydney, Brussels, Bahrain and Berlin.
I recently completed a new novel Me Gino and the Animals and a collection of short stories Look, I’m wearing Camouflage.
My first novel, Drown Them in the Sea won the Vogel/Australian literary award and the Sydney Morning Herald’s Young Novelist of the Year Award.
